The Department of Civil Engineering acknowledges the importance and contribution of all categories of personnel. Staff support and continuous professional development are core priorities of the Postgraduate Study Programme, committed to implementing transparent selection procedures, providing appropriate working conditions, and offering opportunities for academic and professional development.
Human resource allocation and management at DUTH is implemented through Procedure D-2.4 of the Institution’s Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS). Continuous staff training is a prerequisite for achieving the institution’s objectives.
The Department promotes academic activities through innovative teaching methods, modern technologies, and educational leaves. Teaching performance evaluation is implemented in accordance with Procedure D-5.6, utilizing an electronic questionnaire administered via the Quality Assurance Unit’s (MODIP) Information System. The institution also provides extensive support for distance learning, including access to A/V studios and the Academicians’ Toolkit.
Research activities are managerially supported by the University Centre for Research and Innovation (PA.K.E.K.). The Department maintains a supportive rapport with administrative staff, providing personalized training in quality and student management, alongside formal annual evaluations directed by the Ministry of the Interior.
